The Office of Engineering and Technology (OET) has conditionally approved C3Spectra to operate an automated frequency coordination (AFC) system for managing access to the 6 GHz band spectrum by standard-power unlicensed devices. C3Spectra is required to undergo rigorous testing, including lab testing and a public trial, before it can commence commercial operation of its AFC system.
OET has invited public comments on Axon Networks' proposed AFC system, with the deadline for submissions set for July 29, 2024.
