The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) in Japan has initiated a public consultation starting June 12, 2024, concerning proposed amendments to the Radio Law Enforcement Regulations. The amendments focus on introducing 5G relay stations and implementing 5G technology in the 4.9 GHz frequency band. The consultation period allows for public comments until July 11, 2024
